The Inventory app
All data a care service enters in Inventory stays encrypted on its device. I receive none of it: no clients, no medication, no usage data.
The care service using the app is the controller for this data. Please direct any questions about it to them.
The app connects only to these services:
- Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM): fetching public Red-Hand Letters and supply shortage notices. No client data is sent; the BfArM only sees the device’s IP address.
- Microsoft Outlook: prescription requests to doctors’ practices are opened in the care service’s Outlook and sent from there. Inventory itself neither sends nor stores these emails.
App Store and TestFlight
The app is distributed through Apple. Apple processes data under the Apple Privacy Policy.
If you take part in the test phase through TestFlight, Apple passes on your name, email address, device type and system version, crash reports and your feedback to me. I use this data only to improve the app and delete it when the test phase ends. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
This website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, with an establishment in the EU). When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, page visited and browser in order to deliver the website securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. More in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
No cookies, no tracking, no embedded content from other providers apart from the security check in the form (see below). The font is loaded from this website.
Requests to join the test phase
If you ask to join the test phase through the form, I store your name, organisation, role, email address, device, your message and the time. I use these details only to decide on your participation and to invite you in TestFlight. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Requests are kept in a Cloudflare database in Western Europe. I delete declined requests 30 days after the decision and all others when the test phase ends.
To protect against automated requests, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile checks technical characteristics of your browser, sets no advertising cookies and is loaded from Cloudflare. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
I send the confirmation of your request through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France). Brevo receives your email address for this; a data processing agreement is in place with Brevo.
Emailing me
If you write to me, I use your details only to reply. Emails are kept in Apple’s iCloud Mail (Apple Distribution International, Ireland).
